Mt. Laundry. This includes all sheets, towels, and clothes for the week. Hopefully I can have an after picture by the end of the day.
List It Monday Progress
Well I am not nearly as far down my list as I had planned to be. So far I have groceries and the laundry half way washed and dried. I went shopping at Aldi's and Dillons. I spent around $35. I will do a post of the specifics a little later, but I will tell you I got 12 lbs of sweet potatoes, 3 lbs of apple, 9 lbs of onions, 3 squash, and 10 lbs of flour. Plus a lot more. Here are some pictures.

What a cute little laundry pile! LOL That's probably not what you wanted to hear, but mine is about 3 times that without sheets or towels. Then again, I have 3 times as many kiddos as you do.
I am a lurker mostly but have really been enjoying your blog. Just coming out to say hi!
I should have taken a pic if my Mt Laundry to remind myself of how much I really have accomplished today. I know I've done 7 loads so far - that includes towels from weekend visitors as well as sheets. I normally only do three-four loads for my family of three.
I'm still working on getting a grip on my grocery spending... $40/week is my goal, but if you can do it on $35... I may need to trim a bit more...
Wow! That is a lot of groceries for $35!
Pearl,
I am not usually able to keep my grocery bill so low every week. I just happened to find some great deals as well as I was already well stocked.
The grocery budget my husband gave me earlier this year was $75 a week. Since we try to eat only fresh, unprocessed, and organic if possible. I am trying to get my weekly total to no more then $50.
