Great Book For Stay At Home Moms

If you have dreams of being a full time stay at home mom and feel you will never be able to do it, there is hope. I read the book Woman Leaving the Workplace by Larry Burkett and it changed my life. If you are serious about wanting to learn how you can quit your job and stay home this is a must read. I would recommend getting it from your library to save some money. The inspiration for my Transition to Home series has come directly from this book. It worked for me so I know it can work for you.

On a side note I am hoping to add a series on work from home job ideas. If you need a good resource for this you should try out the web site Work At Home Moms They have a ton of work from home opportunities that have been tested to make sure they are not scams. Lets face it, if you want to stay at home most of us are going to need to help bring in some extra income, myself included. It's nice to know there are blogs out there that you can use as resources for finding these highly sought after jobs.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am enjoying reading yours. I read Larry Burkett's book years ago and recently got it out again. I wonder if there is a time when it is too late to become a SAHM. My youngest is now 13. I would like to be around more for her high school years--I feel like I have missed a lot. I worked only part-time until she went to school, but then I took a management job (nurse-manager) and work too much. I also had the corresponding rise in salary and make twice what my husband does. We have been following Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover and we're almost debt free. I wonder if we could adjust to just a teacher's salary. (My husband had a career change--my working allow him to pursue that change). What do you think?
